With average production from Andy Dalton, the Bengals were destroyed by the Texans, 31-10 in Houston. With the loss, Cincinnati is eliminated from the playoffs.
Dalton went 27 for 42 for 257 yards passing, no touchdowns and three picks. T.J. Yates finished 11 for 20 with 159 yards passing, one touchdown and no interceptions for the Texans.
Brian Leonard ran for 34 yards on three carries in addition to six receptions for 36 yards. Jermaine Gresham caught five balls for 46 yards.
The Cincinnati defense managed to slow down the passing attack, but could not slow down the running game, giving up 152 yards passing and 188 rushing. They sacked Yates two times.
Texans running back Arian Foster had a big game, putting up 153 yards rushing, 29 receiving and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Andre Johnson also had a good game with 90 receiving yards and one touchdown.
